Seavus Project Viewer does
everything that it's developers say it will do, and it does these things with
very impressive ease and speed. Installation was quick and problem-free, and
there is essentially no learning curve and no study time involved in using it
for the first time.
When there many people who need to view MS Project plans and status only and
not to re-plan them, Seavus PV has several advantages compared to providing the
full capability of MS Project to all viewer users:
. Viewer users are not confused or distracted with unneeded
functionality in the menus;
. Viewers users are not tempted to try to make changes in the
project planning or status information;
. The views presented by Seavus PV are identical to those in MS
Project;
. Navigation to various views feels identical to that in MS Project;
. PCs or notebooks used for viewing require less capacity and
therefore are cheaper than those using MS Project;
. Software licensing costs are significantly reduced.
The Help menu and content are very well designed.
I recommend Seavus Project Viewer as a cost effective, high-quality solution
whenever multiple viewer users need to have access to projects that are
planned, scheduled and monitored with MS Project. It is also very useful for
importing and exporting data from and to MS Outlook.

As a professor at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering I do not teach Project
management courses, but as a project manager of many international projects I
use Microsoft® Project Professional in my daily work. Since the budget of the
projects that I manage is always limited, we need to cut costs as much as
possible. With Seavus Project Viewer we save up to 90% of the costs for
additional Microsoft® Project applications, particularly with the special discount for
University/Educational users.
As a project manager I need Microsoft® Project to create and change detailed project
plans, but other project participants only need to view my files to be informed
about task schedule, resources allocation and deadlines. I have also looked
through other project viewers, but Seavus Project Viewer totally fulfilled my
requirements.
All project participants find the viewer very easy to install and with a user
friendly interface. It is very easy to navigate and display views, charts and
tables created in Microsoft® Project. All information about different tasks, defined
milestones, resource usage and project progress are available with exactly the
same look and feel as in Microsoft® Project. Therefore, all my new team members do not
need to spend extra time in learning how to use Seavus Project Viewer and they
quickly get into the real work.
I am especially satisfied that the compatibility with Microsoft® Project is complete.
Another feature that I found very useful is the Microsoft® Excel and Microsoft®
Outlook Integration tool of the viewer. It allows me to view and analyze
project plans created in Microsoft® Excel and to share my Outlook tasks with
other team members.

I use Microsoft®
Outlook as my main daily activities manager, including as my task manager. It's
easy, friendly and integrates many different tools, but despite its useful
features and tools, Outlook misses a report tool that really responds to
professional needs.
View, print and analyze my outlook tasks in a Microsoft® Project like interface
sounded as a great idea and solution for me.
Seavus Project gave to my Microsoft® Outlook Tasks, the same professional and effective
view and report of Microsoft® Project, in just a few mouse clicks.
Now I can share with my team members, the status of my outlook tasks in a many
different graph views, making easy for them to follow through.

In a project assignment within my
company, I had to use an .mpp file to see the deadline assignments for the
projects. So I researched the internet for a program application that would
help solve my problem. Researching I found the Seavus Project Viewer. I haven't
used Microsoft® Project before, and that's why I can't compare the programs. What I
found out was that Seavus Project Viewer was very easy to apply. The
functionality of the product was fully adequate for the task. The menus, the
icons and the labels are very user friendly; the user can easily find the right
command. It was a great support to our work!

I am enjoying
using your viewer and had no difficulty opening up all my Microsoft® Project files and
seeing all the information I wanted. It required very little effort to find the
desired functionality. In many organizations only some people need to edit
plans, others just need to be able to read and comment on them. In such cases,
I think this viewer can be an economical option."

"Seavus Project Viewer is a useful
tool to look at projects. Any person will learn how to use it quickly
because the interface is easy and fast, even for people who do not use this
kind of program. Both Seavus Project Viewer and Microsoft® Project look
together. They show very similar characteristics with the clear
difference in the price.
I would recommend Seavus Project Viewer to be used by engineering companies
together with Microsoft® Project".

"I have used Microsoft® Project for quite a bit and it is very good for when I make projects. The first time I saw your viewer I was very satisfied with it. It's very complete.
The look of Microsoft® Project and Seavus are very similar and I feel very well with
both but the viewer is much less money." I saw all the viewing screens
for my project and it didn't miss any of them. I would say to others that
this is a good viewer for looking at the project."

"The Seavus
Project Viewer installation was quick - we had a project file open and printed
within minutes which was the initial requirement. Adjusting the views to
our liking was intuitive & similar enough to Microsoft® Project that we were able
to begin using the product straight after installation. Compared to the expense
of purchasing a full version of Microsoft® Project, we feel the Seavus
Project Viewer is the best alternative available when issuing project
plans for multiple users to view.
Many thanks for supplying a great tool to get a job done"

In the course of
teaching at the local university (Montana Tech of the University of Montana)
and working at a technology testing facility, a variety of people send me
Microsoft® Project files (mpp) so I can review project schedules and milestones.
Now, I have never used Microsoft® Project, either at work or in my college classes. My
project managers and some of my students use it but whenever they need me to
review things, they had to somehow convert the file into an image or a portable
document format (PDF) file. Consequently, I only got half the picture. And my
students invariably ended up in a computer lab that did not have the software
loaded and so they could not print schedules conveniently either. So I went
searching for a better way. And I found it. I ran across Seavus Project Viewer,
which allows me to view the entire mpp files - schedules, Gantt charts,
diagrams, tasks, resources usages, etc. Now I can see the whole picture when I
am reviewing project milestones or resource usage. Although there were several
other viewers I thought that the Seavus Project Viewer had the right feel to
it. From the website it seemed easy to use. When I inquired about their
academic version they sent me a copy and it took all of 32 seconds for me to
install and bring up an mpp file. With easy to use buttons, I could view and
print schedules, charts, and resources. So far, I am extremely satisfied with
the product. Now my co-workers and students do not have to perform extra steps
for my review. Aside from a few memory glitches that distort the graphic
buttons if you load too many programs, I can view and print elements in the mpp
file quickly without having any prior knowledge of using Microsoft® Project. This one
is a keeper.

"Being a user of Microsoft® project, it wasn't difficult to get round the main functions and the 'help' contents were very useful and easy to follow. In general, I found Seavus Project Viewer to be quite similar to Microsoft® Project. And it has good functionality - being able to 'import' and 'export' information to other Microsoft® Office programs is a definite plus."
