Seavus Project Viewer 3.5

The new version of Seavus Project Viewer, 3.5, closely matches the capabilities of Microsoft Project 2003 and Microsoft Project 2007, when working with read-only project plans. It also provides a very close look & feel/implementation of the features in Microsoft Project and requires no additional training for those users with previous Microsoft Project experience.

In addition to all the great viewing features available in the previous version, users of our NEW RELEASE of Seavus Project Viewer 3.5 will be able to experience:

 

  • Import from Project Server 2007 - This feature enables the users to import .mpp files from Project Server 2007.
  • SearchBox - With this option, the users will be able to search through tasks and resources text fields.
  • BudgetTracking - New Microsoft Project 2007 tool that includes important budget, such as:
        - Budget resources - Work, Material and Cost resources
        - Budget filters - New resource filters are Budget resources and Non-Budget resources
        - Budget columns - Budget, Budget Cost, Budget Work, Baseline Budget Cost and Baseline Budget Work columns
        - Budget details - Budget Cost and Budget Work details are supported in the Resource Usage and Task Usage view
  • Resource Pool and Master Plan – Major improvements of Resource Pool and Master plan.
  • Resource Form – This view enables the user to see the resource related information.
  • Resource calendar – The Resource Information dialog box supports calendar exceptions and alternative work weeks.
  • Import from ProjectOffice.net - A new feature in SPV which provides integration with ProjectOffice.net; this feature enables viewing ProjectOffice.net projects.
